Reese's Peanut Butter Cups

To start "www.snacklovers.info" I've decided to take a look at the popular American chocolate treat "Reese's Peanut Butter Cups". Whilst hugely popular in America they are a bit rarer over here in the UK where only a few stores seem to stock them (Morrisons, Tesco and specialist retailer Americandy), this is a bit of a shame as they are a wonderful (if over priced snack) which tend to sell for around 60p per packet. A hefty price for a chocolate snack, but are they worth it?

Inside the packet you get 3 cups (like the image on the right) with each of the cups being about 1/4 of an inch tall and around an inch in diameter. To be honest they really aren't very big at all. The whole "cup" (sides, bottom and top) are made from Hershey's own chocolate (again not something widely available in the UK sadly) and inside of the cup is a rich golden peanut butter.
When you bite into a cup you swiftly notice just how soft the chocolate is. It's incredibly sweet and morish though it takes a backseat to the golden and delicious peanut butter which basically melts on your tongue. The combination of the sweet chocolate and the delicious peanut butter work amazingly well and taste like a Snickers without the nuts. Sadly, unlike a Snickers you do find yourself feeling unfulfilled despite how delicious the treat actually is. This is the major issue with the product, it's not filling at all. I love the cups to be pieces (ED-or should that be "I love the cups to Reese's"?) but I just don't feel satisfied after eat them, ultimately making me question whether or not it was actually a worth while purchases.

As a treat "Reese's Peanut Butter Cups" are excellent but don't have them to fill a hole because sadly they won't succeed. If you just have a sweet tooth however they are nigh on perfect.
